The Reken Private Core

A new AI security architecture to address modern AI-enabled threats

We spent two years of R&D building a groundbreaking on-device security subsystem that protects bidirectional communications to and from devices and accounts, with three main components:

Reken Model Zero

Combines proprietary AI models we train with ensemble learning to analyze incoming data and detect threats.

Reken Trust Sensor

Uses advanced signals to implicitly verify human activity and data for outgoing communication and transactions.

Reken API

Enables any application to connect to the Reken Private Core.

Applications built on the Reken Platform use Reken Private Core services to provide on-device analysis and defense
Diagram of a laptop screen: three applications connect through the Reken API to the Reken Private Core, which contains Model Zero and the Trust Sensor
  • On-device architecture - privacy first, data kept on device
  • Local AI models - require zero additional AI token costs
  • Near real-time inference - enables just-in-time threat analysis
  • Advanced efficiency - runs on average devices without GPUs
  • Unique threat contextualization - finds undetected zero-day attacks
  • Human verification - telemetry detects bots without using private data
  • Open API platform - enables any application to improve security

The Reken Private Core is the foundation of our architecture. It enables a new security model that uniquely addresses the traditional tradeoffs between privacy vs. security and false positives vs. false negatives. It also addresses recent AI security issues by minimizing Internet-exposed attack surface and avoiding sending confidential data to third-party clouds or frontier LLMs. These benefits are just the beginning, as each Reken Private Core instance is also a node of the Reken Network.

The Reken Network

A new trust layer for the Internet

Applications built on the Reken Private Core platform join together to form the Reken Network. The Reken Network is a constantly improving, virtual shield around your communications. In technical terms, it is a self-assembling, zero-trust, mesh network. In terms of business impact, it uniquely protects your organization, your supply chain, and ultimately all businesses and users on the Reken Network.

  1. Employees within the same organization on the Reken platform form a trusted network, verifying internal communications, and subjecting external communication to additional threat analysis.

A ring of trusted company devices, with a cybercriminal and AI bots kept outside
  2. The organization's ecosystem is protected when partners, suppliers, or customers also use Reken.

Your company's trusted network connected to a partners-and-customers network
  3. All organizations using Reken become part of the Reken Network, without any confidential data exchange or additional configuration between them required.

Your company, partners and customers, and other companies joined into one trusted network
